The jewelry designed by Tiina Arkko is timeless and reduced in form. "I prefer to remove all excess from the jewelry and let the form speak for itself."
Arkko describes the design process as a collaboration of hand, eye and mind. "Sketches are often created by drawing in search of the optimal line, but also working with the material guides the work towards a clear and clean whole." The Finnish Goldsmiths' Association chose Tiina Arko as Goldsmith of the Year in 2007.
