The jewelry designed by Tiina Arkko is timeless and reduced in form. "I prefer to remove all excess from the jewelry and let the form speak for itself."
Arkko describes the design process as a collaboration of hand, eye and mind. "Sketches are often created by drawing in search of the optimal line, but also working with the material guides the work towards a clear and clean whole." The Finnish Goldsmiths' Association chose Tiina Arko as Goldsmith of the Year in 2007.
"Circle of Light Collection symbolizes the eternal power of friendship, bringing light and warmth to life. It serves as a reminder of the importance of friendship and encourages being one’s own best friend as well," says designer Tiina Arkko.
