Crafted from golden-hued bright bronze, the Moon Goddess ornament is a special edition celebrating Kalevala Koru's 90th anniversary year. Hang it on a wall, from a lamp or in a window – anywhere it can conjure joy and beauty throughout your home, every day of the year. The ornament is the same size as the large Kuutar pendant but made from thinner sheet metal. Its black satin-sheen hanging ribbon is made from recycled PET plastic. Each ornament is stamped with the anniversary year logo.

The Moon Goddess is one of Kalevala Jewelry's most beloved classics, created in the 1940s by artist Germund Paaer, the first head designer of Kalevala Jewelry. The ornament is rooted in the most beautiful Viking Age jewelry forms and their spiral details.

Care instructions for bronze jewelry

Bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which
tarnishes faster than precious metals. The new bronze jewelry has a jewelry protector
varnish surface that prevents the jewelry from darkening. With the Kalevala cleaning cloth, you can
polishes areas that have dimmed if the protective varnish has worn off.
After cleaning, it's a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water, so as not to damage the cloth
the cleaning agent inside stains clothes.
